Time is fast, 2011 is gone, 2012 is coming. In the past year, i spent more and more time on Twitter, Path and other social apps with iPhone, less time on Blogger, but i still remember this is my blog, my friends and readers may expect something here, so i come back here say Happy new year to everyone.

There's one thing i'm proud to mention we've done in 2011, It's Jetlun cloud portal, an Smart Energy and Home automation system, here is a screenshot for dashboard.

It's good to use iPhone version Blogger post photo blog, and have location in blog post. Will Blogger's future be micro blog like Tumblr or Twitter? Not easy to input long text on iPhone, i'm glad to see the dead GWF doesn't block it so far.

How to migrate Linode from Dallas to Tokyo?

Open a ticket request migrate linode instance to Tokyo
Linode customer service will reply the ticket notice your IP address will change, if this is acceptable, Linode will configure migration to Tokyo.
Log into Linode Manager, shut down, and click the migrate button to move to new server, it will take several hours move data from Dallas to Tokyo datacenter.
Boot linode instance
Setup network from "Remote Access" in Linode Manager, here you have to use command "ifconfig -a" see if your eth0 changed to eth1, then setup:
/etc/resolv.conf, update nameserver to DNS resolvers in Remote Access interface
/etc/network/interface, setup eth0 or eth1.
Update dns record to new IP.
